Tape 65 kicks off with excitement over an incoming Dropbox delivery, triggered into action by a green flag that probably means “go.” Spring maintenance follows, including rotating the tires on Dave’s car — which hasn’t moved — with a confident “half quarter turn.”

Bootstuck (now officially rebranded as “The Stuck”) also unveils its next big attraction: a travel show where visitors are blindfolded, spun around, and released somewhere in town or the woods. Along the way, Georgian renovations are revealed to belong to a man named Georgia, “words of wisdom” go missing, and the town’s long-avoided location is finally confirmed — very far north in Ontario, about thirty hours from anything.

The tape ends mid-conversation, as clarity briefly visits The Stuck before drifting off again.

It's organic. Speaking of organic, we've got a whole new Dropbox coming tomorrow. We're real excited for it. Uh yep. Jerry found a flag. It's green. Probably means go. So we're gonna put that down and tell him go drop the box here. That'll be nice. And then what we'll do is we'll probably dance and then we'll open the box.

SPEAKER_04

I see.

Hat Guy

Yeah, but we don't know. It hasn't come yet. That's just what I'm thinking we might do. Also, I think we're gonna rotate Dave's car tires tomorrow because it's springtime. The car hasn't moved in a long time.

SPEAKER_04

I see.

Hat Guy

So I think we'll give him a half quarter turn push.

SPEAKER_04

Half quarter. Oh god. I certainly have.

SPEAKER_00

They see first. Take hands with danger. Take hands with danger. Three finger gold.

Hat Guy

Oh my god.

SPEAKER_02

Okay.

Hat Guy

Hello. Are you there? Yeah, and here I am. Hello. Hello?

SPEAKER_03

Oh my god, you gotta be kidding me. Uh I've learned a lot today.

Hat Guy

Um Yeah, me too. I was uh I was hoping that you had some information for me. Oh, maybe you can give me a word of wisdom.

SPEAKER_03

A word of wisdom. Uh well, yes, I could. I could.

Hat Guy

Why not? You're probably no thing. Uh well, can't always be me giving you all the answers. Think about it. I'll tell you something first, though. We'll talk about the way that Georgian renovations are coming along nicely. Ever been to Georgia?

SPEAKER_02

The state?

Hat Guy

No. The gentleman's house. His name is Georgia Mitchell. His renovations are coming along quite nicely. Yeah, he's putting in a new kitchen and an old bathroom.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, and and and the words of wisdom associated with that?

Hat Guy

Uh wisdom starts with a W, so we'll find a word that starts with W. I have no idea what you mean, but that's okay. That's okay. Winter peg. Yep, that's a W word in an imaginary place.

SPEAKER_03

I see. Not what I was looking for.

Hat Guy

Words of the wise. Think about that. I think we should go with a word of the day instead. Today's been a real good day. I gotta tell you, we had a lot of things happening here in the stuck. Well, I'd love to hear about them. Well, I'll tell you about it. All right. Let me go now. Here we go. Woo! First one is we made a nickname for bootstucks called the stuck. Yep. You ever get stucks? Real stuck. That's where we is. Oh, not gonna get yourselves out of this gym. Doesn't matter how tiny baby hands you have to get inside that jar. It's gonna be messy. Woo! So other things are coming to town. Like travel show. Yep. We're gonna have a travel show. Yeah. Because the air show was a hit. So now we figured we'll travel people around a little bit. Come to the travel show, we'll put you on a blindfold system, spin you around, not gonna tell you how many times, and then we'll let you loose somewhere else in the woods or in town. Yeah. Now, well, what would you say if I said, uh What would you say if I said you want to go to the deep south? What would you think?

SPEAKER_02

You want to go to the deep south or I do?

Hat Guy

Maybe you. Deep South for me is like Toronto. Toronto? You're familiar with Toronto. Yes, in the deep south of Ontario. Been there. We kind of live nearby, ish.

SPEAKER_02

I see. Okay, no, this this is good.

Hat Guy

30-hour drive from the big city. So you can probably get to Florida or to my place in about the same amount of time.

SPEAKER_02

So you're in northern Ontario.

Hat Guy

We're way up tuck, tuck, tuck, tuck, tight up north, cozy as can be when Rita comes, cold as can be every other day.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. So you know that you're in Ontario then?

Hat Guy

Wow, I never heard you sound so excited in your life. That sounds nice. Like you got a nephew or something that you didn't know about.

SPEAKER_02

Well, you've answered a question, and I've been asking them for about 12 weeks. Well, you're asking, I'll tell you. Okay.

Hat Guy

Hello? Are you there?
